SUMMARY:Concert: The Music of Hans Zimmer (Organ and Gongs)
DESCRIPTION:Music from Hans Zimmer’s film INTERSTELLAR and improvisations \nThe gong masters bring their gongs together at Pärnu Eliisabet Church to create\, together with the organ\, a shared sound field in which a cosmic symphony can emerge\, featuring music from Hans Zimmer’s film Interstellar and improvisations. \nA unique and profound experience in cosmic sound awaits you. It offers an opportunity to relax\, look within\, heal spiritually\, and feel the therapeutic vibrations of sound in your body. It is also an excellent opportunity to step away from the routine of everyday life\, enjoy the beauty of music and sound\, and listen to what the stars whisper to us. \nThe GONG is one of the oldest musical instruments\, used to expand thought and perception. During gong meditation\, brain activity slows down and alpha and theta waves emerge. We connect with our subconscious\, from which information comes to us in the form of symbols. The uniqueness of this altered state of consciousness lies in the fact that inner self-healing processes are activated and cells can renew themselves. Our body restores and rejuvenates itself. At the same time\, new ideas and unconventional creative solutions arise. \nIn addition to the gongs and organ\, other rare instruments will also be heard\, tuning us to a harmonious state: flat bells\, sound bowls\, ethnic flutes\, wind chimes\, ocean drums \nCreating and holding the sound space: \nTiia Tenno \nOrganist at St John’s Church in Tallinn since 1996. \nLilia Märtmaa and Denis Vinogradov \nFounders of the Healing Sounds Centre\, musician-multi-instrumentalists and sound therapists. \nAleksander Bachman \nLight and video artist \nTICKETS \nFrom Piletilevi or at the venue before the concert \n30 € advance ticket\n38 € ticket on the day of the concert\n18 € pensioners and students\n12 € schoolchildren \nThe concert lasts 1\,5 hours without an interval; doors open from 19:30 \nTicket information: www.piletilevi.ee

SUMMARY:Concert: In the Embrace of September Music: tenor Germán Gholami and soprano Lilian Sauvola
DESCRIPTION:IN THE EMBRACE OF SEPTEMBER MUSIC \nOpera hits\, timeless melodies and beloved Estonian songs \nAs the autumn days grow darker\, it is the perfect time to let music warm you and carry you away. This autumn\, an extraordinary and heart-warming concert tour\, “In the Embrace of September Music”\, will travel across Estonia. It is a special meeting of cultures\, generations and different musical styles. An exciting ensemble will take the stage\, bringing audiences the brightest hits from the world’s opera stages\, timeless international melodies that have won the hearts of millions\, and\, naturally\, beloved Estonian songs. It is an evening where the grandeur of classical music meets the freedom of crossover music and a wealth of subtle nuance. \nA hundred-percent commitment and a unique line-up on stage: \n\nGermán Gholami (tenor) – Our own “Estonian Spaniard”\, whom local audiences know and love thanks to Teatri Vanemuine’s large-scale productions (“Hüljatud”\, “Ooperifantoom”\, “Nunnad hoos”). Today Germán is pursuing a distinguished solo career around the world—from the USA to South Korea—and tours extensively across Europe as a member of a popular tenor ensemble. Although his musician parents and other family members live in Madrid\, while his Estonian wife\, children and he himself live in Tallinn\, Germán considers himself\, at heart\, specifically a South Estonian\, because his journey to Estonia began there. The nuance in his voice and his sincere desire to give his heart to the audience on stage make every performance an experience.\nLilian Sauvola (soprano) – A brilliant 15-year-old Estonian young talent and a rising star of the opera world\, who is continuing her studies in the youth department of the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Her powerful vocal range\, stage courage and maturity have already earned her several distinctions\, including the title “Tallinna talent 2024” and victory in the worldwide “Annetekoda” competition. The wider public fell in love with Lilian’s talent when she was a finalist on the television show “Laul vs. Tants 2026”\, where the powerful and sensitive duet she and Germán performed from the musical “Ooperifantoom” captivated thousands of viewers. Now you can experience this magic live!\nGuest performer: Ali-Reza Gholami (trumpet\, Spain) – Germán Gholami’s father adds a unique international dimension and an intriguing jazz colour to the concert. Ali-Reza is a respected Spanish musician\, conductor and music teacher whose distinguished career of more than half a century includes\, among other things\, studies under the legendary Miles Davis. The father and son’s shared music-making creates a rare\, warm and intergenerational dialogue on stage that touches every listener.\nElina Vassiljeva (concertmaster) – The concertmaster\, whose piano playing makes up a very substantial part of the entire programme. She is deeply inspired by the interaction of music and words\, and her experience of Toomas Kaldaru’s opera-class masterclasses enables her to make the entire ensemble shine on stage as a unified whole.\n\nWhy come to the concert? \nThis concert tour was born from a desire to bring beauty\, hope and light to people. An exceptionally intimate and warm atmosphere awaits you. Come and let music embrace you beneath the church vaults this autumn\, and take home an unforgettable emotion that will warm your soul for a long time to come. \nSee you at the concert!
