Victory Day Marked with an Ecumenical Service

An ecumenical service for Victory Day was held at St Elizabeth’s Church in Pärnu on 23 June.

Bishop Anti Toplaan preached. Those serving were His Grace Aleksander, Bishop of Pärnu and Saare of the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church; Toomas Nigola, pastor of Pärnu St Elizabeth’s Parish and dean of Pärnu Deanery of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church; Peeter Paenurm, Chief Chaplain of the Estonian Defence League; Joel Pulk, assistant pastor of Pärnu St Elizabeth’s Parish; Thomas Eriste, priest of the Estonian Charismatic Episcopal Church; Tõnu Kuusemaa, pastor of Pärnu Agape Methodist Church; and Eenok Palm, pastor of Pärnu Immanuel Baptist Church. The women’s choir of Pärnu St Elizabeth’s Parish also took part. Aaro Tetsmann played the organ, Marie Nigola the violin, and Osvald Nigola served as altar server.
