Our parish women’s choir took part in a song festival held at Hanila Church on Saturday. According to the choir representative, everything went well and the singers returned with happy memories.
This year’s song festival was dedicated to Estonia’s Year of the Book and was entitled “Writing Begins at the Church … Songs from the Hymnal”. The concert programme featured works by Estonian composers.
In addition to our choir Elsbeth, Pärnu Deanery was represented in Hanila by the women’s choir of Vändra Parish, conducted by Iren Värva.
